Interview: Chris Wright on the Fast Track to A-List Copywriter Status

In November 2014 I got the opportunity to fly out to Nebraska.
I was attending Roy Furr's advanced copywriting workshop.
To say I was unprepared was an understatement (and not just copy-wise)...
Me, being from England, thought I knew what cold weather was....
So I didn't pack or dress for Nebraska (AKA the "forgotten arctic pole").
My first step off the plane was met with the harsh reality...
I was not as hardy as I thought.
The chill swept through me. Goosebumps sprouted. The shivers took control of my bodily movements.
No worries, I thought, I'll just get my luggage and put on extra layers of clothing...
Except my luggage had been LOST when I transferred at Chicago.
The next day was spent in a t-shirt and thin jumper -- the clothes I'd travelled in -- hopping from heated store to heated store in freezing-cold Lincoln, Nebraska.
But it was all worth it.
Roy's workshop was great.
And it kickstarted my year of mentoring under him.
Which is why I'm writing this post.
See, I was recently interviewed by Roy.
Personally, it was a big honor for me.
He's had a MAHUSSIVE impact on my career (& life).
Plus, without him I would have never got to freeze my nuts off in the middle of America (or have my first wine-pairing experience)!
